Contraception without hormones? This is both possible and viable. Alternatives to hormonal contraception have existed for many years now- from software solutions (e.g. PERIMON) through small pocket PCs (such as Cyclotest's ® menstrual cycle monitor) to the symptothermal method of NFP, with which you measure values with a thermometer (for example the Geratherm® thermometer), enter these values in charts and evaluate them yourself (info).
